Summary
Objectives
The protection of the environment is very important for all Europe, and word. We can not have quality life if we are living in polluted environment. As well lot of pollution influence on our health and lot of people suffer form diseases created by pollution. Even climate changes are result of so high of pollution of environment. Our lives on this planet are in endangered if we do not do concrete actions to stop it. We have to increase level of awareness of people about this topic and to make step forward to call people to think more about environment we are living. And not only to think but to act. We, as humans, are part of nature and can’t survive without it. We need healthy surrounding if we want to prosperity. No one technology can help us if we do not have awareness and love nature. So, with this project we want to create campaign which will gathered young people around Europe about topic climate changes which are direct consequence of not taking care of our nature. We want to send clear massage that we as young people want more actions related to clear nature. During the project we will cover important topics about protection of environment, how national and EU policies are regulated, what we can do as young people to attract attention of adult to take more care about nature, we will share useful information how to recycle some everyday items, we will learn how to create campaign, how to use photography to promote nature, how to post materials on internet to attract people attention. We will spend more time in nature and experience form first hand how nature is beautiful and inspiring and develop love for it.
The goal this of project is to educate 40 young people from partner countries about protection of environment and inspire them to create campaign about climate changes.
Specific objectives of YE are to:
– Stimulate young people’s spirit of initiative using methods of creative photography raising their ability to create,
– Promote photography as a tool of protecting environment and a way to acquire knowledge and skills useful for persons’
professional development,
– Foster mutual better understanding of ecological situation and culture in countries of participants and develop a sense of
ecological awareness,
– Campaign against climate change and environmental degradation,
– Encourage youth to further influence media in the topic of ecology in their own countries,
– Promote cooperation on European level in the fight against climate change,
– Learn about the opportunities which Erasmus+ programme gives to youth in order to motivate young people to be more
active in promotion of environmental issues.
Activities
We are planning to organize youth exchange in Serbia, Serbia where we are gather 40 young people form five countries (Germany, Turkey, Finland, The North Macedonia and Serbia) to work on topic environmental protection. The participants will be 18- 25 years old and leaders will have no age limit. Participants will be one who are motivated to multiply the experience gained during the youth exchange in their local communities; be ready to develop and implement realistic follow-up activities as a result of the course; be available for the full duration of the exchange; Be able to work in English. Each partner will select 7 participants and one leader of the group.
Impact
We expect to have 40 educated young people about environmental protection and ready to start campaign against climate changes. According to that main expected impact that direct beneficiaries can convey further by empowering them to become actively involved not only in activities of partner organizations, but also in preparation and their own initiatives as well as those agreed at the end of the exchange. They will multiply effects of the YE in their communities through different activities. Partner organizations will be empowered with competences which can use in future work and organize activities for young people with more quality. As well active young people will contribute to local communities to improve them and make them beter environment for living.
