EU Activisten is a non-profit youth organization, established in Germany in 2021th. Its members are individuals (young people, adolescents, and students) between 14 and 30 years old. The idea for establishing an association was born from the passion of a few youngsters who wanted to take action and make a change in the society they were living in. NGO founding members have had the desire to give back all the things they have learned and experienced during previous years of volunteering. Our NGO is created to serve as a learning organization that gathers trainers, youth and social workers, youth policymakers, experts, and volunteers with different levels of competencies to be actively involved in the creation of civic activities with European dimensions and with benefits for their local communities. One of the goals of the organization are improvement and promotion of human rights, the rights of children and youth, as well as ensuring social cohesion and inclusion rights.
The main reason for founding the organization is the desire of young people to connect with the diaspora from the Balkans in order to promote European values and spread ideas to other young people from the Balkans and Europe.
The objectives of the association:
– Promote the personal and professional development of young people;
– Foster creativity among young people;
– it promotes member local administrations, offers counseling and information, organizes micro-regional, national, and international meetings;
– supports and promotes local initiatives;
– supports and promotes youth involvement and voluntary work for the benefit of the communities;
– looks for project partners both in the country and abroad;
– writes and implements its own projects in the region;
An important objective is to promote actions and activities which will stimulate young people to develop a better life for themselves and their peers, raise awareness, help public institutions on specific issues regarding young people, develop partnerships in the field of Erasmus +, and involving youth in rural life, promoting, supporting and rewarding youth.
We provide training and innovation in digital and entrepreneurial skills internationally, but we are also committed to promoting innovative advances in education through active participation in European projects and educational initiatives.
Eu aktivisten also intends to cooperate with organizations from other countries to integrate new procedures, methodologies, and improved processes for the and validation of professional competencies.
In recent years, we have been involved in many projects working for sustainable development, environment, socio-cultural development, and migration.
We also collaborated with public administration bodies, associations, cooperatives, private organizations, scientific institutions, universities, and individuals.
The team of “EU Activisten” is organizing training and exchanges aiming to straighten youth skills and competencies, increasing their capacity to get better jobs and raising their awareness.
Our organization is interested in the topic of this project. We believe that experience, which is gained in this project, would be very useful for our community. During this exchange, our group will share experience and knowledge that relates to the topic of the action. We will do our best to provide our participants an opportunity to take part in all stages of the project. All the group representatives are volunteers, who were selected to participate in this action with the aim to share and receive knowledge that would raise the quality of life of youngsters in our country.
Our team is participating in national and international projects across Europe in order to be up to date with the new methods and create valuable partnerships in the field. We have strong experience not only in organizing training courses and youth exchanges but also in conferences, flash mobs, language courses, cultural trips, voluntary projects, etc. Our organization always worked to boost all the major skills of our volunteers and youth workers. ” EU Activisten ” is also involved in various international training related to improving the quality of international projects and understanding the new tools of work.
Since we established we have started to increase the quality of its educational activities, develop and reinforce its networks of partners, increase its capacity to operate jointly at the transnational level, boost internationalization in all activities and through exchanging or developing new practices and methods as well as sharing and confronting ideas. We are experienced in the development, transfer, and/or implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning, and exchanges of experience at the European level
What is more, Active Youth Association cooperates with other European NGOs and international organizations in hosting and helping others host youth activities in a number of countries, promoting cultural diversity, and contributing to the positive social changes in the European continent.
Our aim is, by definition, to not just address the issue, but also inform the local communities about
1) the benefits of such projects;
2) the seriousness of the issues being brought to light. For that reason, AY pays attention to every detail and carries out the full spectrum of activities. From early research to implementation to later stages of result dissemination. Such an approach & competencies are relevant to any project.
