Talking about the background of the groups we want to stress out that the primary focus of the future participating organizations is not interreligious dialogue but the organizations decided to take part in this youth exchange because young people involved in their local activities expressed strong interest in the topic, that is occupying their public and media space.

Impact

We expect that youth exchange ‘Building Bridges through Interreligious Dialogue ’ to have following impact:
Young people directly participating in the activity will: increase their understanding of the term: interreligious dialogue and their knowledge in this area; become more aware of religious diversity in participating countries; explore the roots of religious discrimination and hate speech and develop their competences such as communication in English, ability to work in multicultural environment, to present ideas in front of the group, to set learning goals and follow on them. Moreover, they will increase their knowledge of the Erasmus + programme and motivation to be active, to take part in youth activities.
For participating organizations the project will be an opportunity to offer their young people a chance to take part in international activity. And they will benefit from the fact that group of their young people will develop their competencies, from new tools and methods, from the opportunity to strengthen their partner network and to increase their capacities to cooperate at the international level.

Besides directly involved participants and participating organizations, we expect that the project will have an impact especially on people from hosting local community Eskisehir, Turkey.

It is a student city in Turkey and with a lot of young people, many of them unaware of Erasmus+ and opportunities it offers. This project will be for them an opportunity to get to know Erasmus + Programme and to interact with young people coming from other countries. Besides having an impact on the hosting community, we believe that the project will have an impact also on the communities of participating countries because we plan to organize follow-up activities with the main aim to present the key result of the project, the short movie on interreligious cooperation, created directly by the participants to wider audience from all participating communities.
